PALS - Over 50s Badminton Group

Over 50’s badminton group

When: Tuesday & Thursday 9.30a.m.-12.00p.m.

Cost: £3.50 per session

Includes badminton and refreshments. All welcome.

Walking Football

If you can walk then you can play Walking Football.  The game follows the same rules as normal football except no running or sliding tackles...it's a free kick if you do!  Walking Football takes place in our sports hall so no worres about the weather.

Every Tuesday from 1:00p.m.-2:00p.m. The cost is £3 per person per session.

Badminton

Badminton Club serves up an ace evening every Tuesday from 7pm-9pm.  Court hire is also available for non-club members and courts are available during weekdays and weekends.

When: Tuesday 7:00p.m. - 9:00p.m.

Weight Watchers

Join Weightwatchers and start a new chapter in your life.  With Weightwatchers leader Margaret.

When: Friday 9.30a.m.-10.30a.m.

CREE – Men’s Socialisation Group

When: Friday 1.30p.m.-3:00p.m.  

Sessions can include walks, day trips, art and craft, sport, board games and always include socialisation and refreshments.  Please note - we do offer activities such as woodwork, metalwork, etc.

Family Roller Sessions

Currently on hold due to COVID-19

Get together with the family every Saturday and enjoy the retro-fuelled fun that is roller skating! Choose from one of two sessions (times as shown). We even include skate hire but sizes are limited!

Families can skate together or adults can enjoy a drink and a snack while watching their children have fun!  Please note this is a family session and children cannot be left unattended and adults must be with a child!

When: Every Saturday

10.00a.m.-11.00a.m.

11.00a.m.-12.00p.m.

Cost: £2.50 per skater per session

Additionally we have a Wednesday session from 2.00p.m.-3.30p.m. during school holidays for only £3 per skater (except December).

Roller hockey coaching

Currently on hold due to COVID-19

Roller Hockey is a fast and furious all-action sport perfect for adrenaline-fuelled boys and girls – and we’re always looking for new players! It’s quick and easy to learn so don't worry if you've never skated before. We now compete in the Northern Counties Roller Hockey Association.

When: Saturday 12.00pm-1.00pm 

 

Durham City Rolling Angel’s Roller Derby

Durham City Rolling Angels are a Women's Flat Track Roller Derby squad.  Catch the club’s Facebook page for details.

Training is Sundays 10:00am-1:00pm.
